Barrow Borough Sports Council

Barrow Borough Sports Council is dedicated to sport and physical activity in the Barrow and District area.

Our aims are to increase participation, opportunities and provision for everyone (regardless of age, gender, ability, social class or race) to enjoy and reach their full potential within sport and physical activity in Barrow Borough.

These web pages are intended to be your 'one stop shop' for sports development and anything sport or physical activity related.

The website includes information for local clubs, coaches, schools, young people and adults who are involved in sport and physical activity and anyone else who is interested in keeping active.

Duddon Canoe Club received a grant from Barrow Borough Sports Council to go towards the cost of establishing new premises at the docks.  This will increase participation and extend the range of activities for young people.
