Barrow Borough Sports Council

The Barrow & District Disability Sports and Leisure Forum was set up to:

‘Remove the barriers which prevent people with disabilities from accessing sports and leisure opportunities in the Barrow Borough’

• The aim of the project will be met by advising sports and leisure projects on improving accessibility to their sports and leisure opportunities, publicising sports and leisure opportunities, supporting organisations in providing inclusive, accessible opportunities and linking in with local and national initiatives.
• The project is steered by a forum, which consists of local, regional and national organisations that have an interest in meeting the aims of the project.
