EFDS launch new Club Hub
The English Federation of Disability Sport (EFDS) have launched their new Inclusion Club Hub.
The EFDS say the online toolkit will support sports clubs to improve provision and opportunities, so more disabled people can be active at a local level.
The toolkit can be accessed here and is free to use.
It can be used as an audit to find out how inclusive a club is or as a resource to support a club’s development. Other support includes developing a club action plan, strengthening the Clubmark process, or general planning.
The EFDS say they want to ensure disabled people who look for local opportunities can be guaranteed a quality experience once at the club and the Inclusion Club Hub can support this.
New company set up to support local clubs
JML Marketing is a new company set up locally to help local amateur sports clubs to obtain grants and sponsorship. The Company is run by Martin Lewis who many of you will now through his previous role as Commercial Manager at Barrow AFC.
