Winter Bowls at Abbots Vale

It's the end of the bowling season

Give yourself a head start for next season by practicising on Barrow's only all-weather bowling green at Abbots Vale.

It's just £1 for a 2 hour session or you can book the green for a game for only £8.50.

Dalton Active Sports Hall - DASH @ Dowdales

A mere sixteen years after the journey began....... Dalton Mayor Dermot O'Conner cuts the ribbon to open the new Dalton Active Sports Hall.  Congratulations to Head Liz Moffatt and everyone who helped along the way.

The Sports Hall is a fantastic new resource for Dowdales School, local primary schools and the local community.  The main hall has full size basketball and netball courts and it is marked out for a variety of sports.

Outside is a floodlit area which is ideal for winter training.
